Remote Participation at Council Meetings

If you wish to participate remotely you must preregister at ElCajon.gov/RemoteParticipation. Once you are registered you will receive instructions on how to join the meeting.

Once in the meeting, your microphone will be muted until it is your turn to speak on an item. When the City Clerk calls your name you will hear that your microphone has been unmuted by the moderator. Your time will begin once you start speaking. During your allotted time, you can mute or unmute your microphone by pressing *6. Once your turn to speak is over your microphone will again be muted by the moderator. If you register to speak on multiple agenda items, this process will repeat for each item you have registered for.
