Commercial Users are designated low strength, medium strength, or high strength based on the use on the property.

Where there are multiple uses on a particular property served by the same water meter, the City applies the designation that closest represents the overall sewage strength entering the City's sewer system. That may be the designation of the highest strength user located on that property.

 Industrial waste permits may be required for some users due to the type of materials released to the sewer.
