Join the El Cajon Veterans Coalition! 

The Veterans Coalition advises City staff on issues facing active duty or retired military members and their families, selects a Veteran of the Year, consults on the Veteran’s Memorial, and educates our community. If selected, you will serve a one year term on the coalition where quarterly meetings will be held. There may be additional opportunities to educate and engage our community as well.

Requirements

1. You must be an active duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces, a reservist, and/or honorably discharged from service.
2. You must be a resident of the City of El Cajon for the duration of your term and/or be an active member of a non-profit veterans' organization based within the City of El Cajon.

Veteran of the Year

The City of El Cajon “Veteran of the Year Award” recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of veterans to the City of El Cajon and the greater San Diego area.  Each year, a Veteran of the Year is selected to recognize them as one of the City’s finest veterans.
